A Republican, he serves as the Secretary of State of Georgia, serving since January of 2019. He previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 50. Raffensperger (Republican Party) ran for re-election for Georgia Secretary of State. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
