Sean enlisted in the Marine Corps at 18, and was stationed on the West Coast until being sent to Quantico to serve as an instructor at the Officer Candidate School.
After four years with the Marines, Sean joined the Fairfax County Police Department, where he worked undercover to help identify and arrest gang leaders plaguing Northern Virginia with drugs and crime.
In 2004, Sean began contracting with the Drug Enforcement Administration, and was selected to command a Sensitive Investigative Unit in Guatemala, infiltrating cartels and executing takedown operations and air interdiction missions. Sean and his team were responsible for seizing over $80 million in assets from cartels.
Sean then served as Weapons Specialist for the DEA's Foreign-Deployed Advisory and Support Teams before being deployed operationally in Central and South America. He received a letter of commendation from President Obama for his work combatting international drug cartels.
Sean returned to Virginia in 2017, where he continued his service as the Lead Instructor for Sensitive Investigative Units at the DEA Academy in Quantico, training over 3,000 members.
After 20 years of service with DEA, Sean joined the the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, where he helped protect and serve our community as a Patrol Deputy Sheriff.
Sean is the co-owner of Martina's Cantina, a food truck servicing Fredericksburg, Stafford and Spotsylvania. He is also the founder of Peacemakers-USA, a small business that sells military-inspired wear and donates a portion of profits to local veterans charities. Sean also volunteers his time as a firearm safety instructor.
Sean is a father of five, and he and his wife Ada reside in White Oak.
