AGREEMENT FORM

Purpose: Application to seek election as a Precinct Member, Member At-Large, or Absentee At-Large Member of the RPVB City Committee. Filing Requirements:

• Submit signed Agreement and completed Application Forms.
• Include nonrefundable $50 filing (payable to Republican Party of Virginia Beach).
• Deadline: No later than 4 pm on Friday, tenth of April 2026, or Friday prior to next Called RPVB City Committee Meeting in April 2026 (postmarks not accepted).

Submission Options:

• Applicant hand-delivers, in- person (cash fees in person only, no mailing) or applications with checks mailed to Secretary RPVB, 2955 Virginia Beach Blvd. Suite 105 and checks made out to RPVB.
• Submit online via RPVB.org website (with $50 fee + credit card processing fee; receipt provided).

Qualifications & Certifications (as certified by applicant):

• Citizen of United States who is legal and eligible voter in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
• In accord with Virginia Republican Party principles.
• Intend to support all Republican nominees during term (if elected).
• Meet qualifications in Article I of the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV) Plan of Organization, RPVB Bylaws, standing rules, and addendums.

Duties & Obligations (if elected):

• Perform duties in good faith by RPV Plan of Organization, RPVB Bylaws, standing rules, and addendums (available on RPVB website).
• Actively support RPVB objectives: build the Party and elect its candidates.
• Precinct Members (residing in precinct): Appoint a Precinct Captain; assist the Captain to the best of ability.
• All City Committee Members: Assist Precinct Captain in their residential precinct.

Membership Structure:

• Based on qualified Republican voters in Virginia Beach (not guaranteed).
• Precinct Members: One or more per precinct (based on votes for Republican Presidential/Gubernatorial candidates in most recent elections; minimum one (1) per precinct; must reside in the precinct.
• At-Large Members: Additional members (any precinct residence); limited to ≤30% precinct membership in accordance with authorized membership per RPV Plan and RPVB Bylaws.
• Restrictions: Spouse, child, or parent in same household as current precinct member ineligible for that precinct's seat (but eligible for At-Large).

Other:

• At the first meeting after the reconstitution, applicants are nominated and elected.
• If applying after the first meeting, applicants shall be nominated one month, then elected the second month.
• Applicants must be present to be nominated and elected. NO PROXY
• All forms held in confidence and maintained by the RPVB Secretary.
• Applications require accurate voter registration info (no P.O. boxes); include name, address, phone, email, employer, occupation, and address of employer.

Application forms on-line with Republican Party of Virginia Beach and $50 filing fee plus additional fee for credit card. An on-line receipt provided upon verification of payment via credit card.

ALL FORMS WILL BE HELD IN CONFIDENCE AND ASSESSIBLE TO ONLY THOSE AUTHORIZED and maintained by the Secretary/ Membership Chair.
