Website Policy

The policy of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach website and social media presence is to give equal and impartial service to all Republican candidates for statewide office as well as those members of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach City Committee who are, or declare themselves to be, candidates seeking local, partisan offices. (RPVB Bylaws: Article IX, Section B, (6))

What this means to candidates and their campaigns: If you are a candidate, or authorized representative of a candidate, for statewide office or local office, we will gladly list your upcoming events (fundraisers, campaign rally, meet & greet, etc.) on our website and our event calendar. We will also share and “retweet” your events or news on our social media presence when you “tag” the Republican Party of Virginia Beach through our official Facebook page or “tweet” to our Twitter account (@RPofVB).

For those candidates seeking local, non-partisan offices we offer the same service offered to our statewide candidates. However, this service does not constitute the endorsement of our party in accordance with our RPVB Bylaws, Article IX, Section B, (9, A., B.,).

How to contact us: Candidates or their authorized representatives that wish to have their events published on our website or shared/retweeted should contact our New Media Chair at Webmaster@RPVB.org .

Candidates of their authorized representatives that wish to have their upcoming events published in our weekly newsletter, The Red Read, should contact our Communications chair at Communications@RPVB.org .
